The library will have a "basics to genealogy" class on Saturday, February 27th at 1 p.m.
A few members from the Galveston County Genealogy Society will each give a short speech.
Betty H. Dunquez will talk about: the Overview of genealogy research.
Claudia Grafton will talk about: Local Repositories.
Pat Thorn will talk about: Genetic DNA research.
The class will be held from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Snacks and drinks will be served. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the library at 986-7814. This class is free and open to the public.
