2024 Summer Reading Program

The weather forecast is sunny with a chance of books! Join this year's Summer Reading Program and track your reading between June 8th and July 18th to win prizes.

Want something to do this summer, well, the 2024 Adventure Begins at Your Library. Summer Reading Program begins Saturday June 8th and ends July 20th. Free to the public. Pick up your brochure and register on Beanstack for some reading fun!

 We will have crafts, experiments, games and educational entertainment like Houston Astros Orbit, Texas Snakes, Crocodile Encounter, & Galveston Bay Foundation to name a few...

We will calculate books by hours read and this year's goal is 10 hours! Children will earn badges, with each hour read the children will receive a prize! Trophies and certificates will be given out at the end of the program so STAY TUNED!
