The mission of the Genevieve Miller Hitchcock Public Library is to educate, inform, entertain and culturally enrich the entire community by providing a broad range of library materials, information services and special programs in a welcoming environment and to promote and encourage lifelong learning and the joy of reading.

Summer reading program held in June and July.  

Crafts for kids:  once a month on a Saturdays  October through May

Adult Book Club- "On the Same Page"  meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 7 pm

One on One-learn how to use the internet, Microsoft word, e-mail, even you smart phone.  No appointment necessary!

Deposit - $125

If you lose key $25 fee

Room Fee Resident $50

Non-Resident $75

Inter-library loans-if we do not have a book we cam request it from another library, we can get it!

Archives- The library has over 5,000photos and articles about Hitchcock's businesses, townspeople, schools, the  Blimp Base and Camp Wallace
