"Book Signing"

Join us in welcoming ALICE HEIN SHIEL, Author of the book,  "Nora Mae, a  Remarkable, Insignificant Person".  Mrs. Schiel will discuss what inspired her to write the book about her mother.  You will learn of a woman who lived for 95 years and faced all of life's seasons with hope.

More than thirty years ago. Alice told her mother that she wanted to write a book about her someday.  Nora Mae began to randomly make notes-notes that her daughter placed into a file.  When  Nora Mae passed away in 2011, she left a small notebook with the inscription,  "Give this to Alice".  Alice's siblings have also contributed childhood memories to help tell the story of their mother's life.  She also interviewed her mother's Pastor and friends so that Nora Mae's whole story could be told.

Refreshments will be served.

If you would like to read the book before the book signing, come by the library and check out the book!

Books will be available to purchased for signing!
