Makia's Story

Hello, my name is Makia. My job at Genevieve Miller Hitchcock Public Library is cataloging the materials. I also help in ording new materials for the library. I have also been crossed trained to work the circulaton desk and inter-library loan desk. I have been employed here for 6 years. My experiences in the Library continue to grow along with my confidence and ability in my work. I've learned so much about the library and enjoy working with people. I really enjoy the Summer Reading Program which provides the children in our community educational entertainment. It is fast paced, but it's good to see all the children reading and in general learning from the programs.
