Joyce's Story
Hi, I am Joyce. I became employed at the library seven years ago and I have been the Director now for 3 years. Every part of the library is special. Hitchcock is a wonderful community and is very supportive of the library. Our Library is small, which in many ways gives us an advantage to reach out to many people in our community. This job is very rewarding, it is not only about books, but about meeting peoples needs. Whether it be with books, computers or just a friendly shoulder to lean on, our library is here for everyone. This is how the library motto became known as: "Your Friendly People Library".
